slowrollwv Posted December 8, 2017 #1 Posted December 8, 2017 Well fool are our southern friends mad yet? Looks like you turn that machine too far south ward. Most of them do not see this very often and don't know how to handle it. So I hope they don't get too mad at you. You missed us but it may be headed our way tonight and tomorrow. Just do me a favor and turn it a little further east so we can get a white Christmas this year.
RDawson Posted December 8, 2017 #2 Posted December 8, 2017 Well he overshot KY. It's a hard trajectory to hit. High 50s forecast Monday, riding weather for sure. The only problem we have with the weather here is we don't get a season for chroming and polishing the bike. If you tear it down for more than a week you miss good riding days. :stirthepot:
Venturous Randy Posted December 8, 2017 #3 Posted December 8, 2017 Yep, we are in the snow band and my yard is white. We are supposed to get from 1 to 3 inches. Looks like no top down riding in the Miata for a while. Randy
RandyR Posted December 8, 2017 #4 Posted December 8, 2017 couple inches here. if the ground hadn't been warm an d it was a few degrees colder, the amount of snow accumulation could have been a lot more
ragtop69gs Posted December 8, 2017 #5 Posted December 8, 2017 I'm not sayin a word, don't want to Jinx us
Flyinfool Posted December 9, 2017 #6 Posted December 9, 2017 I'm not sayin a word, don't want to Jinx us I heard that................... I was getting better at lofting stuff right over your house to get to other destinations to the south.
snyper316 Posted December 9, 2017 #7 Posted December 9, 2017 Well I am mad!!!! people further south of me are seeing snow, all that seemed to get me was saddlebum left his back door open, or was close to my area when he opened his suit case again.... maybe need Flyinfool to bring his contraption down here!!
Drreb Posted December 9, 2017 #8 Posted December 9, 2017 Not mad just got white stuff all around and it's ok by me.
ragtop69gs Posted December 9, 2017 #9 Posted December 9, 2017 I heard that................... I was getting better at lofting stuff right over your house to get to other destinations to the south.Darn you Jeff! Turn up the power!!!!... we're getting a little bit of the blow-by sprinkling down on us, your ruining a perfect riding day [emoji20] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
venturesome Posted December 9, 2017 #10 Posted December 9, 2017 Ok Jeff!! You can point the nozzle on that white-washing machine back to Puc's area. I have all the once every 10 years pictures I need. :snow2:
Sylvester Posted December 9, 2017 #11 Posted December 9, 2017 Not mad at all. Hasn't slowed me down, but there are some cars and pickups in the ditches. Obvious they used their brakes instead of steering through the snow. Actually it is quite pretty and the dogs love it. :snow2:
slowrollwv Posted December 9, 2017 Author #12 Posted December 9, 2017 Thanks Fool it missed us. Not even laying in the grass. Just a few flurries today. :clap2:
Yammer Dan Posted December 11, 2017 #13 Posted December 11, 2017 Had about a inch this morning gone by noon. OK I'm ready for SPRING!!!!
M61A1MECH Posted December 11, 2017 #14 Posted December 11, 2017 Cold snap did not bother at all, I put my bike for the winter once it gets below 72 degrees, so it has been put for a few weeks now.
Venturous Randy Posted December 11, 2017 #15 Posted December 11, 2017 Local news said over the mountain in NC around Hendersonville that they got up to 18 inches. We were lucky. Randy
Dragonslayer Posted December 11, 2017 #16 Posted December 11, 2017 Well Flying FOOL, I guess you finally got that diabolical contraption dialed in. We got some Saturday morning but it was gone by noon. Was able to do a little hunting in the snow. That was cool.
Dragonslayer Posted December 11, 2017 #17 Posted December 11, 2017 The view out my office window Monday morning.
slowrollwv Posted December 11, 2017 Author #18 Posted December 11, 2017 Well from what they said on the weather report. That is only the first one. More to come.
