bossman Posted April 24, 2008 #1 Posted April 24, 2008 Greetings, I was at the local dealer couple days ago , The owner of the place has a 2000 mm RSV that he will sell me for 8500.00. What I was wondering is that a good price for it? And if so he said he had not started it for about a year. He told me they would clean the carbs and put in a new batt. It is his own personal bike. He was in a car accident so he was not able to ride anymore. Buy the way it just has 1000 mls. on it. What other things should i BOLO for? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you. bossman.
DragonRider Posted April 25, 2008 #2 Posted April 25, 2008 Buy it quickly..........................still brand new with only 1000 miles on it..........
SuamicoBob Posted April 25, 2008 #3 Posted April 25, 2008 Yes if it runs buy it now. I just bought a 2000 venture with 8200 miles on it for $8900 and I considered that a great deal.
Acadieman Posted April 25, 2008 #5 Posted April 25, 2008 Run a can of Sea foam thru it and Drive it like U stole it.I think u almost did lol:080402gudl_prv:
RedRider Posted April 25, 2008 #6 Posted April 25, 2008 Is it the beautiful, fast red one - or the millineum beige one. If it's the red one, jump on it quickly. If it is the beige one ..... well .... you should probably still jump on it quickly. RR
sarges46 Posted April 25, 2008 #8 Posted April 25, 2008 Thats a fair price....I would jump on it and run.
