Same light on Amazon is $40 cheaper. also on Amazon literally dozens of alternatives at 1/10th the price.

I'd be afraid of turning my wrist and getting a flare on the windshield and blinding my self.

I honestly can't think of a circumstance riding that it would be helpful. Now off the bike making roadside repairs maybe?

Just my two cents worth:2cents:

Its a great idea for a shooting situation...but I'm not sold on it for riding.

Funny, though, I was thinking of getting one of those cheapy keyboard lights. Small LEd with a small gooseneck. Mounting it so i can have it shine on the 1st gen's radio panel. Not sure if I will ever find one with a very short gooseneck...so it's not in the way. I know I can get one that plugs into a cig socket, but would rather mount something.

Wire it up to the panel dimmer control...that would be cool.

Anyway, food for thought. That is a great light though...

Yeah. I saw one from Amazon, but I think it is the older model of the 2211. The older brother has a different wrist strap.

Somehow, if I ever get one I will have to make sure it is not turned on during riding. It may very well be under my sleeves especially during the cold winter months. Still thinking about it....

I've used a LittleLite for illuminating the tankbag map/instructions during night time riding in LD rallies. Works great and can be wired into the 12V.

This product looks very nice. As I was checking out dealer/seller locations in our area, majority are guitar music stores so I think it is also widely used in the music industry....say for a DJ, etc.

Geeze, dunno what's going on, but here we are making ANOTHER comment in the last few days, after almost zero participation since joining up in 2014!

Thankfully, this one is a quickie, but possibly worthwhile for a lot of you with cellfones like our I-fone 6 'SE'.

If you stroke upward from the bottom, off the screen toward the top of the fone, it brings up a bunch of options. Down in the lower lefthand corner is a flashlight icon (no kidding). Tap that, and bingo! You have a mini-flashlight.

Don't forget to repeat the upwards stroke when you're done, or your battery is gonna go pffffft! nitey-night on you!~

Cheers, WRIDR

Well, I got my ticket waaaay back in the early '60s when I was a young teen (around 14). I went into the military in 67 and my license expired. I was more interested in fast cars and faster women at the time! My old call letters got reissued a very long time ago. I was mostly on 80 meters with a little work on 40. I had a Heathkit Apache and an old Hallicrafters S90.

Nowadays where I live I'm in a valley and they won't let me put up a tower so I really can't get back into it if I wanted to but that's OK...

Just go myself a 'Buddipole Deluxe' for use while on the road or mountain topping. Also in the process of finishing my Go-Box and will install Yaesu 991A and a 40Amp PS in it. If you ever decide to get back to it, the buddipole may be the perfect application for you and it can be as stealth as it can be depending on where you want to put it in your home location. http://www.buddipole.com/

Oh btw, I am still interested on that Surefire 2211. I may just get it for my own X-Mas gift. :scratchchin:
