MrRadi8 Posted April 24, 2008 #1 Posted April 24, 2008 Doing the amp for cassette mod and ran into something I'd rather avoid. My right rear speaker wires come out of the pod so I can see the color for them to split up at the radio. However, the left rear speaker pod has 4 wires going into it. Apparently when I swapped speakers I connected them inside the pod. I don't know what color is (+)/(-) or for that matter what two of the four is the speaker. Anyone have a diagram that tells? Haven't found it so far. Thanks.
Royal Venturer Posted April 24, 2008 #2 Posted April 24, 2008 The rear speakers are mono. The wires R/Y and Br/B. don't worry about + or -, makes no difference. Let me clarify...makes no difference 'cause all it does + or - wise would be to put the speakers out of phase. If your a audio purist and in a envirorment where you could hear the difference, well then fine...but on a motorcycle going down the road...you'll never know it.
MrRadi8 Posted April 24, 2008 Author #3 Posted April 24, 2008 Well duh. I was busy hooking up everything else I quit reading. He said on it he ran wires since they were mono. Sigh. Thanks.
