So There I was!!!

So there I was in the kitchen this morning looking for a bite to eat and fixing me some coffee. Kids were at school I was just going about my bussiness and kicked the box from the Orkin Mans last visit So I go ahead and I bend over and go to pick it up, well Mr Thumble thumbs like I am it slips out of my hand. It seemed as if it was stuck to the floor with the glue inside the trap. So I am like ok this isn't nothing just kinda wiggle and pull, not budging!!! So I try one last time grabbing hold of that glue trap and give it a good yanking, AND OMG, OLLY ALE, Bust my buttons and give me a HEART ATTACK!!!:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

HOLY SPAMOLY,, SLIPPERY THINGS OF ALL THE WORSE KIND BATMAN!! Is that what I think that is Snype??

 

Tip would have been heard screaming from 15 miles away if that is a SNAKE!! She HATES snakes!! Any idea what brand it is?

Short story while your washing your under garments,,,,,

Years ago I got a customer who wants to walk out in the barn out back of my shop into my motorcycle junk yard and look for parts... I walk out with him, turn on the lights and walk over to a couple parts frames.. He is bent over looking at an intake on a Honda 125 that he is looking for when I notice a snake curled up on the handlebars on the bike sitting next to the bike he is looking at. The little forked tonge on the snake that kept flipping out was about 4 inches from the guys ear when I asked him if he was afraid of snakes.. He turned his head toward me away from the snake, looked me right in the eyes and said "why?".. I pointed at the snake and before I could move my hand back down by my side, my customer was out the barn door and pulling out of my driveway in his truck... Guess his fear of snakes was greater then his need of a Honda 125 intake...

 

By the way,, that looks like an Orkin sticky board mouse trap? Did you know that snakes are better mouse catchers then Orkin sticky boards

Well aware this here was a garter, black snake.. Years ago in the woods we used to live we were forever finding snake skins in mom and dad's room.. I felt every hair on me stand straight up and I was all but Christian at that moment.... I was not expecting that at all. I ended up squashing him and the box... Right now paying 48 a month to get rid of land lords pets. Back home the land lord had contracts for someone to come in... Down here its different story this landlord gave me are you stupid look when I asked about pest control... But I refuse to live with them any longer and for future reference will be asked before I fill out application. Wished there was place I could go to find out if land lords are in the up in up.

I got a Black Snake that hangs out in the back yard. With him there I don't have to worry about the Copperheads!! I've seen this happen. Black snakes will eat Copperheads!! No Copperheads around here since he started hanging around. I talk to him and he will raise his head up as if listening.

Dan I have heard that before... But I wonder how and why, I have never heard of snakes eating lizards but makes me wonder and at least they don't die from Orkins chemicals. We got every variety here at the house. Blue tail, golden, tree, and there is one other but I know they eat bugs and such. Plus I like them so glad they don't die off.... The snakes I'm not afraid of but when your not expecting one well that's definitely a horse of a different color!

Understand that!!! But I've Twice seen Blacksnakes eat Copperheads!! So I'll let my buddy hang around as long as he/she wants. I do hate them Copperheads!! They are mean. Most snakes will run away given the chance. Copperheads will sit and wait!!
