Greetings fellow members.

Am looking into getting a Goldwing trike to use in the US. Have been looking at the trike forums for some info on different trike kits but these guys are very passive regarding info on goods and bads for different kits. I did notice though that there are a lot of discussions about the driveshaft problems on the CSC kits and people seem to complain a lot about there customer service regarding this fault.

I have actually nailed my interests down to a Roadsmith or/and the Hannigan kits. It is said that the Roadsmith is a little sturdier built than the Hannigan but I like the looks of the Hannigan more than the Roadsmith. Specially like the rear spoiler on the Hannigan (Whale Tail they call it). Would most likely opt for the Roadsmith if they offered a spoiler on their kit or if I could add the Hannigan spoiler to the Roadsmith. Doubt that it is possible though since I would guess that there has to be somekind of extra strengthening in the body where the spoiler is fastened / bolted on.

Was just wondering if anybody on our site has any experience with these kits and the Goldwing ? (of cause the Royal Star is also an option but the Goldwing would be my foirst choice - will always keep a Royal Star in my shed though : >)

If anybody on this forum has any experience or knowledge about the above or even knows a specialist then please chime in : >)

Jonas I have a friend that lives about a mile from me that has a Goldwing trike for sale on Craigslist. The CSC trikes that had a problem with drive shafts had the solid axel. My friends trike has independent suspension and has not had any problem with it. Like I said he has it on Craigslist and the trailer with it. I do not know what you plan to spend. If you look on the list it is the only burgundy one with an eagle on the front fairing.

Thanks - but I cannot find this anywhere under West Virginia. Would you have a link or a city where it is listed ?
