Could have fooled me, but then again, I don't know anything about the 1st Gens.

Well...for one thing the model they have listed is XV13DS-L. That is a 1300 and the '84 was a 1200cc. Also it has the larger saddlebags and trunk. So...based on the trunk and the bags...it is an '86 or newer.

OH...and I would also be very suspicious of that 4,000 and something miles. Being a police bike, I would be suspect that it has rolled over the 100,000 mark.

I am currently high bidder on the bike. I understand that it was used fulltime until a couple of years ago then they parked it... I am hoping to replace my last bike with this one and not have a ton of money in it.
