sleadhed Posted April 23, 2008 #1 Posted April 23, 2008 Have any of you installed these in the rear? I got these for the front, Now I am wondering if they will fit in the rear without modification. Have you up-graded the rears? what did you use for a speaker? Did you have to modify?

Have you up-graded the rears? what did you use for a speaker? Did you have to modify? To answer your question, yes they work and very well I might add. A few pointers though. Front speakers are a little snug as far as the holes in the speaker going onto the post, but do fit fine. I removed the protective screens off the factory speaker and put them in front of the new ones (like the old speakers had them) and re-installed. You can bend the Polk mounting holes/tabs in to make them tighten nice and snug. You will see this when you do the change out. Rears are easy too. I went ahead and ordered the new arm rest pads since it made it easier to re-install. They sound great.
