Sorry guys been busy, post IRMA. I've not been able to engage in my usually witty repartee'. Losing electric and internet and phones at work put us way behind. Of course new homeowners don't care that builders and subs (US) lost almost two week of work, they want to move in now!!

 

11 hour days non stop. This is worse than an IRONBUTT ride, most days i hit the desk at 5:45 am and don't move until 11:45 or my bladder starts screaming, then do it again from 12;30 till 3:55. Back home and still got yard cleanup and unpacking and resorting everything we threw in boxes to evacuate with.

 

Hopefully its starting to settle down.

Yup I'm with you. We were without power from when it hit us about 9pm Sun nite until Thursday around 7pm. Cable and internet came up at same time, but crashed about 11pm that nite. Finally got internet back Sun following Hurricane. Wife and I spent 2 days or so cleaning up our place, then went over to a friends house who does mission work and was out of town and worked a couple days working on his place. Because the college I work at was used as a shelter and also a distribution point for supplies we were closed until Wednesday.
