It's just a little solar powered, phototropic, photopopper. Phototropic is a fancy way of saying it seeks out light. And it gets the term photopopper from the fact that when it build up enough energy in it's capacitor, it fires one of the motors. The infrared detecting eyes steer it towards the brightest light source and the feelers detect objects in its way so it will steer itself around them. I built it from scratch as part of a project on photovoltaics in my Nanoscience Technology class.
