Sergeant Sooner Posted September 17, 2017 #1 Posted September 17, 2017 Hi guys, I'm fairly new here to the site and a new Royal Star Tour Deluxe owner. I bought a 2005 RSTD a couple a months ago and have really enjoyed riding it. The problem I'm having is the battery keeps draining on the bike. I have a led voltage meter wired into the fairing and when I bought the bike earlier in the summer the battery would read right around 12.5 - 12.7 volts when sitting and while running it would read around 13.2 -13.4 volts. In the last week, the battery is reading 11.8 - 12.0 volts sitting and running it does not go up, it just keeps draining. I have pulled the battery a couple of times and charged it, it will then read around 12.8 volts but gradually drains while riding through the day. I guess my question is... do I need a battery, stator, or regulator? Thanks in advance. -Gary
