Pardon my ignorance but i have heard the term "levelling links" thrown around here a bit lately.....what are they??:confused24:
Something that only 2nd Gen Ventures need so that they can handle somewhat as good as a 1st Gen does...

I have an 07 RSV. When I got it, it felt like I was driving a semi without power steering. Riding a long twisty road was tiring. I bought the leveling links and installed them. Took more time to jack up the rear end than to install them. Very simple to do. Took the bike for ride and the steering was 30-40 percent lighter. I needed a new front tire so I went with the next width narrower. That made the bike handle light and comfortably. Just perfect. Only difference is that in heavy cross winds the wider front tire is more stable and same for hands off riding. The bike tracks straight with no hands better with the wider front tire. But I like the handling ease with the two changes. With the two changes it is like night and day.
