Turnin into a professional bucketlister :7_2_104[1]: Sure does bring back memories though... I have a few unfinished yet to sell myself.. Had a guy stop to look at an old Suki 250 Savage I have downstairs and while him and I were yakkin numbers on it another guy stopped and asked if I had any links I could pass along on an early "Lil Green Apple" Honda CT70 (very rare color).. Was telling him that I had redone 3 of them back in the hayday and each went for over 6 grand = if he did find one and it was anything close to being a "10" expect to pay in that price range... Saying all that to say,,, the price on that Lil HD is probably not out of line = at all... THANKS FOR THE LINK Deej = enjoyed it!! Puc
djh3 Posted August 29, 2017 Author #3 Posted August 29, 2017 Back when the "mini trails" first came out had a kid in the neighborhood that got a orange colored CT70. Probably the first "motorcycle" I ever rode. Then another buddy got the 4 speed Clutch model in green. Boy was that a learning curve. LOL Many times I picked myself up after the bike went over, sideways and dumped me or what have you. Now they have these Grom things that look sort of that way, but I guess are street screamers.
vzuden Posted August 29, 2017 #4 Posted August 29, 2017 I had a green 4 spd clutch version and my cousin had a blue 3 spd semi automatic. I followed him several times and always noticed his brake light coming on. After a few questions we determined he didn't know he didn't have a clutch lever - he was applying the rear hand brake every time he thought he needed to shift! (glad it was him and not me because at that age I probably wouldn't have known the difference either)
