Statussymbol Posted August 28, 2017 #1 Posted August 28, 2017 Noise could best be described as a bent bike rim rubbing up against a brake pad. Only does it 2up. Bearings going? Everything was lubed up when I had rear tire replaced this spring. Sound does not go away when applying rear brakes so I don't think its a bent rotor. Rear tire out of balance? Service guy said bearings were good when tire was replaced. I've put about 5K on bike since then. But I do not know when the last time they were replaced. Stat
Marcarl Posted August 28, 2017 #2 Posted August 28, 2017 I would pull the wheel to check the clutch spline. If they used the wrong grease it will be dry and worn.
