tufftom4 Posted August 27, 2017 #1 Posted August 27, 2017 I have bought and sold a couple of Kawasaki Voyagers just like the first gen Ventures I have never paid more than 2,000$ for a low mile one I think this guy is on crack I e-mailed him with what I thought the bike was worth and he came back with a teenage tantrum go figure. https://treasure.craigslist.org/mcy/d/1999-touring-voyager-1200/6281605905.html
snyper316 Posted August 27, 2017 #2 Posted August 27, 2017 Ok they on crack..... All I got to say I would give 1500 for it if it has no blemishes then maybe 2000 Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
snyper316 Posted August 27, 2017 #3 Posted August 27, 2017 The blue book on it is only 2495 in excellent condition.... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
BlueSky Posted August 28, 2017 #4 Posted August 28, 2017 There is one for sale locally for $2K with fewer miles.
luvmy40 Posted August 28, 2017 #5 Posted August 28, 2017 She's beautiful, you must admit. But, $6500?! That guy's definitely suffering form delusions of grandeur. BTW, Are those Hitachi carbs on the Voyagers?
Condor Posted August 28, 2017 #6 Posted August 28, 2017 The answer is simple... He doesn't want to sell it. It's a vanity CL ad.....
etcswjoe Posted August 28, 2017 #7 Posted August 28, 2017 Sounds like a gentleman on Facebook a few years ago trying to sell his millennium for 15K, anyone that offered him what it was actually worth received very rude and nasty replies.
RDawson Posted August 28, 2017 #8 Posted August 28, 2017 See it all the time. There are two MKII parts bikes in this area priced at what I'd sell mine for ready to ride. One wants $2000 listed as a parts bike, the other wants 1800 for a broke up barely running what he claims is a " super nice bike". The trunk is the only good plastic on it, running on 3 cylinders and not well on those.
Yammer Dan Posted August 29, 2017 #9 Posted August 29, 2017 I'll sell Brown Sugar. About er............5000.
djh3 Posted August 29, 2017 #10 Posted August 29, 2017 While it does appear to be a nice unit, that is way more than I think the market will bear. I found this 2010 Voyager for less money, less miles and more goodies. I know its a V-Twin but ....... Here is a 90 model over in Sarasota with 23k. https://sarasota.craigslist.org/mcy/d/1990-kawasaki-voyager/6269547714.html Asking 3k
