Thanks @cowpuc for sharing....you are the official VentureRider.org field reporter this year! Always good to have a man in the field.

 

All that Farkle adds up to be more than all my bikes are worth put together. Slightly different list of accessories compared to the Farkle provided back in 1986! Would be nice to deck out a new scoot from the get go! A boy can dream. In the mean time I'll just polish my Ventureline chrome rotor and vent covers.

One thing that comes to mind after reading all those accessories, is Yamaha did an excellent job of planning ahead. Everything bolts right on to existing holes! Except trunk rack.. probably has marks/raised bosses on underside of lid!

Very True @videoarizona! Will be interesting to see what the "aftermarket vendors" will do for this bike as well. I like the "No Guess" rack alignment that Mother Yamaha added but the only thing that disappoints is that the rack is only rated for "4.4lb capacity". I get 4.4lb of dead bug build up on my rack just from driving the down the road during a Canadian summer! I hope they are being extra conservative on the load rating......or the trunk material is not supported very well for top mounted cargo.

Nice accessorys now you would think tho this would all be included with the high end 18 venture..... Just one silly question what is up with the heated passenger grips? Can this work like a fighter jet where the passenger can take over the controls:sign67:

I would love to see how the Diamond Cut Guy is going to handle the new ones! No fake covers to swap out...

They say the weight limit is for handling. But they said that for our Ventures too. I would guess we could load up ten pounds easily.

Its funny you say that Vaz cause I ask specifically about the weight limit and the tech (who refused to allow me to record ANY of our conversation) said EXACTLY that..

Shoot the bag that goes on there probably weighs 4 lb.

I am just waitning for another year then pulling the trigger on an Ultra Classic CVO or an Indian Roadmaster. The new Venture is just plain butt ugly.
