Hi

I am looking for a drive shaft for a 1986 and newer Venture Royal.

Today I broke mine on my trike. Don't ask just that I did something I shouldn't of.

All I need is the drive shaft.

All I can stay is that it made so much noise when it broke and by the time I got it stopped I thought the hole bike was gone. Thank god I was only going slow .But nothing else happened to it so if you know were I can get a new or used more then likely used driveshaft please let me know.

Now I have one more thing to fix.

I will take the one I have into a driveshaft shope and see what they will say and if it can be fixed.

Thanks Guys

Thanks GeorgeS for all your help

The part is ordered.

As for how I did it the little birdy is shacking his head but I will not tell you which way.

Thanks again for all the help and so fast.

I did a search on ebay but did not get anything back.

If your Motor was running in overrevving Range, start to look out for a spare Engine.

The Connecting Rods are sensitive and have almost no Reserve when overrevving. The one or two of the upper Eyes will start to get oval. You will hear nothing for the next 1000 Miles, then you will hear a ticking Noise which will get louder for the next 5000 Miles. If you can stand the Sound at this State, you can normally ride for about 8000 Miles until you need to worry about the Con Rod making its Way out of the Casing to see the Light.

Just let me say the motor was at a idea when this happened. I was moving only 10 mph and I hit the shifter and it went into first without the clutch in so being a trike both tires on blacktop almost stopped the bike with the motor and the driveshaft snaped.

Called TRi-wing today and he will send me a new adaptor for the bike driveshaft to the rear end with some mods done to it to make it better. They are working with me and it was not a problem on their end but just me. I think that is great they are doing this for me.

Just have to take all the parts when I get them to my driveshaft shop to weld it and balance it up and I am back on the road.

Thanks Again for all the help guys
