Sailor Posted July 7, 2017 #1 Posted July 7, 2017 Wolo horn has stopped working. I used it a lot last year during the toy run. How can I find out if it is the horn or the relay?
slowrollwv Posted July 7, 2017 #2 Posted July 7, 2017 Check the fuse then unplug it and run a jumper wire off the battery.
Flyinfool Posted July 7, 2017 #3 Posted July 7, 2017 Always start with the easy and/or cheap things first. Check the fuse. Check all of the connections to be sure they are still connected. Just sneak under the 2 terminals of the horn with your voltmeter leads to see if power is getting to the horn. If no power then just start following the wire back testing each connection to see where the power stops.
camos Posted July 7, 2017 #4 Posted July 7, 2017 Check all of the connections to be sure they are still connected.Don't forget the negative is switched on the horns.
bongobobny Posted July 7, 2017 #5 Posted July 7, 2017 Don't forget the negative is switched on the horns. Not if you are using the original wires to trigger the relay... Most of us that switch to air horns use the stock horn wires to switch the ground side of the relay primary.
