Holed up at the Comfort Inn tonight waiting for tomorrows fun on the Root Beer run. Haven't seen anyone from the site yet but there must be somebody cause there's a couple mc trailers tied up out front.

The guys all came in from dinner while I was posting here last night. Had an awesome ride today and now I know why Mike is so addicted to that root beer in Oglesby. It's flavor is certainly outstanding. 🙂

Perfect timing getting back to the hotel tonight too, as we started getting light rain after pulling in. Hopefully this front passes thru before morning so Mike can lead us on more of these country roads.

Another outstanding ride lead by Mike crossing over the great Mississippi river with a awesome stop at the American Pickers show shop Antique Archeology. Pretty interesting place. Then North for another river crossing with a stop for lunch & ice cream. ☺ From there more winding country roads back to the hotel. Thanks to Mike & Cheryl for putting a great meet.

Oh yea the weather was good today too, mid 70's & mostly cloudy with spots of sunshine poking thru.
