M61A1MECH Posted June 19, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 19, 2017 I had that problem on either my 98 Tour Classic or 07 Venture, can not recall which one, what I found was that the filament for the front turn signal had burned out and for what ever reason the signal was going through the running lamp filament causing it to blink like the turn signal. The difference in the resistance between the filaments was enough to cause the turn signal to flash rapidly, changed the bulb and all was normal again. Rafterd Posted June 19, 2017 Share #5 Posted June 19, 2017 Does both lights blink? If not, the one that doesn't has a pinched wire.
Freebird Posted June 19, 2017 Share #6 Posted June 19, 2017 Pull the left rear lens and check for water/corrosion. Have seen more than one that had water in the left rear. Not sure why, the way it sits and leans that way on the sidestand or something.
