Garryg Posted June 2, 2017 #1 Posted June 2, 2017 Hi guys, just got a 1983 venture , had some small holes in diaphrams, replaced all. My problem is power was very flat, when I test rode it I noticed that when I put my left or right blinker on as I move it I would get a slit second of power( like the bike should go) so if I go from one blinker to other I get this surge. I can't move the switch to maintain the power it just a second then back to being flat. Any ideas, thanks Garry
Marcarl Posted June 2, 2017 #2 Posted June 2, 2017 The first thing to do would be to check that all the ground connections are in good shape. Start with the battery, and the main connection on the bottom right side of the engine. There is another one on the left side under the inner faring right behind the radio. Also check the connectors for the ignition module under the battery.
