videoarizona Posted June 2, 2017 #26 Posted June 2, 2017 Yikes!!! So good to hear Becky is ok! Give her lots of hugs, Bob. Gently though!
Yammer Dan Posted June 3, 2017 #27 Posted June 3, 2017 WOW!! Missed this one Bob. Glad Becky is OK. Give her a hug for me!!! WOW!!!
RockinRobin Posted June 3, 2017 #28 Posted June 3, 2017 Glad Becky is ok. Cars can be replaced. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
bongobobny Posted June 3, 2017 Author #29 Posted June 3, 2017 Yes, Praise God she is OK! As far as cars being replaceable, I'm thinking her's will be declared a total loss and I have already found a nice brand new red one to replace her beloved Altima, and Nissan is offering Zero APR financing and the payments will be pretty much the same as what we are currently paying...
Bubber Posted June 3, 2017 #30 Posted June 3, 2017 Thank God she is OK! Thanks that the car took the big hit instead of her. Now get ready to come back to Minnesota will ya? We miss you guys.
Yama Mama Posted June 4, 2017 #33 Posted June 4, 2017 So glad that Becky is fine. It is so hard when you are in an accident. It is hard to get over. Sometimes it just takes time. Yama Mama
bongobobny Posted July 16, 2017 Author #35 Posted July 16, 2017 Thought I would resurrect this thread and post pictures of what Becky ended up with!! It's a 2017 Nissan Altima SL fully loaded and we added some aftermarket bling as well! The cool thing is that we got Zero APR just like her old one that we still owed a year on, and the monthly payments went DOWN almost $29 a month!!
Freebird Posted July 16, 2017 #37 Posted July 16, 2017 Very nice. I think you'll get great service from it. Eileen and I love her Murano.
Marcarl Posted July 16, 2017 #38 Posted July 16, 2017 Looks a lot better than the old one. I notice the side door looks usable on this one, and the front end is more aerodynamic. GM makes a good car, hopes she enjoys it, because Nissan makes a good one as well.
slowrollwv Posted July 16, 2017 #39 Posted July 16, 2017 You out taking pics and she is doing yard work. You should be helping her.
Marcarl Posted July 16, 2017 #40 Posted July 16, 2017 You out taking pics and she is doing yard work. You should be helping her. That's what keeps her so trim and young looking. Did you say something Bob?
bongobobny Posted July 16, 2017 Author #41 Posted July 16, 2017 Hey, I'm recovering from toe surgery, I'm supposed to keep off my feet as much as possible...
mraf Posted July 16, 2017 #42 Posted July 16, 2017 Sorry I missed this earlier but glad she's ok. Tell her that she is not the only one to not see a gray vehicle. I can't tell you how many times I have pulled out in front of gray vehicles. They seem to blend into the background. The new red car is pretty and should be very dependable. Now stay off that toe for awhile.
