So my mother has an older Honda Spree 50cc scooter at her cottage (no place to store a golf cart like the neighbors) but the skinny tires are not the best on gravel and she dumped it last weekend.

In-laws had a Chinese knock off Honda CT70 Trail bike sitting in the shed for 10+ yrs since the bro-in-law stopped riding it in his mid-teens. Asked about it a few weeks ago and they said come get it if you want to fix it up. Like a typical young boy, he kinda trashed it but the engine fired up and the major parts are all there (seat is in the back of the car) and even had a new set of "street" tires. did some eBay hunting last night and found most of the parts I needed on the cheap, found a supplier in Zeeland, MI who sells restoration parts the stuff I can't find used.

P.S. Does anyone have a line on that magic machine that give you more time and money?

I know you were kidding on the above.....but....

Writing down a list of things to do on a daily basis then checking them off as you finish whatever you are doing... does tend to make some people more productive. I can tell you it only worked a little bit with me. But others have told me this is how they can get much more done....something to do with keeping busy. Guess it's a mental thing.

P.S. I like that little scoot!

I have no problem with staying motivated...or I'm a workaholic if you ask the wife. I'm just stuck in the typical spring rush of everything, April - early June when the wife gets out of school is crazy around here. I'm a civil engineer so spring is kick of off construction season and I'm swamped at work. Mom has a cottage so its getting everything fixed up and opened up for the season. Getting the house fixed up and cleaned up with all the stuff I want to do.

Mom was bugging me about selling her Spree to fund the repair of this little guy. I'm not selling a perfectly good scooter that we bought DIRT CHEAP at a garage sale to fund a project that if I didn't have I would have bought my 3yr old son a dirt bike or quad anyways. I can also use this little guy to start teaching the wife to ride, Its a clutchless 4spd transmission.
