cecdoo Posted May 17, 2017 #2 Posted May 17, 2017 Put open pie plates around the house, in the inside and fill them with white Vinegar, Also spray vinegar under the house where the skunk sprayed. It will help, I just went thru it at my Moms house. Good luck, its gonna stink for awhile!! Craig

RDawson Posted May 17, 2017 #5 Posted May 17, 2017 1-start the vinegar method. 2- Jump on bike and come to our ride this weekend. 3- Hit every ride/meet n eat you can find in the next couple weeks. 4-Go to Freebird's m day. Maybe it'll be better when you get home. In all reality good luck. I have no idea how to fix it but it's gotta be rough.

The enzimes in the smoke will help to neutralize the skunk stink. I've used this method to descent my mom's dog. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
XV1100SE Posted May 18, 2017 #8 Posted May 18, 2017 Skunk spray has to be one of the worst and hardest smell to get rid of. There are sprays you can get that kill the odor on whatever the skunk sprayed. Skunk-Off is a great product. If you can't get into the crawl space (not even a neighbour's kid?), spray what you can and hop you get rid of as much as possible. You have to get the source.

My only option is to cut hole in floor... If the smell don't go away may have to get ahold of my renters policy and see if I'm covered..... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
Flyinfool Posted May 18, 2017 #10 Posted May 18, 2017 Depending on how good of terms you are on with the landlord, maybe have him deal with it since he rented out a place with no crawl space access but enough access for critters to get in. Around here anyhow, I never seen a house with a crawlspace that did not have access. At some point in time someone will need to go under there for some kind of maintenance on the house. Be careful if you do get in there, you do not want to meet the skunk (or some other nasty critter) under there with no room to run.

It is not an actual crawl space the actual crawlspace is under my storage in the back but there is a whole in the back and to the right that an animal dug out.... No piping or electrical there... I need to get ahold of my ex methhead neighbor, he dugout underneath a whole house even had a chair in one hole under house under his closet.... It was plumb crazy cleaning that house up for a previous landlord... Explained how they evaded police a few times when I knew they were home.... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
Dragonslayer Posted May 19, 2017 #12 Posted May 19, 2017 I understand you can flood your house with tomato juice to neutralize that skunk stank.
snyper316 Posted May 19, 2017 Author #13 Posted May 19, 2017 That's alot of juice but I haven't noticed smell no more but used humidifier filled with vinegar.... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
