Ky. Rider Posted April 27, 2017 #1 Posted April 27, 2017 I have mentioned this before but after our ride this week I want to share this again. We are fortunate to have a lot of good riding in our area of W. Ky., W. Tn., S. Il., and E. Mo. We have a riding group where most of us are retirees or semi-retired. We try to ride once a week usually 130 - 180 miles and include rest stops and lunch. We leave mid morning and back by mid afternoon. We have a ride captain that maps out all the rides. Riders are sent an e-mail informing them of the day and time. We usually have 6 - 10 riding. When the weather gets too hot to enjoy lunch rides we do breakfast rides. While I enjoy touring, these rides are some of the most enjoyable times spent riding. We have a good group of guys riding all brands with no drama or testosterone issues. Our breaks and lunch times are filled with laughs and the rides are not to see how fast we can get from A to B. I have all the e-mail addresses of the riders included in the "riders contacts" where one e-mail goes out to all. I'm sharing this to encourage you to get together a riding group and enjoy the weekly rides as we do. We schedule the day according to the weather forecast for the week. We started doing these rides about 6 - 7 years ago. If you are already doing something similar I'd like to hear about it. Have fun and stay safe and if you are ever in our "neck of the woods" give me a shout and your schedule might just mesh with one of our rides. Bill K.

RDawson Posted April 29, 2017 #3 Posted April 29, 2017 Where are you located in W KY? We are putting on a charity ride from Murray up through Cave in Rock and back May 20th if you'd like to join us. I'd be interested in going on some of your rides too. I'm just north of Murray. Ronnie Dawson. ok now you're info is loading on my phone. I couldn't see it first time. We're not too far apart.
snyper316 Posted April 29, 2017 #4 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) I don't think many are located in this Fourstate Area I live in, I live just south of Joplin and about 30-45 minutes from Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma.. We are having a Blessing of the Bikes come Sunday and as long as My BG stays down and the rain stays up I will be there. Hopefully we don't get rained out... Hopefully I will get to see some awesome trikes, and even awesomer Ventures. Edited April 29, 2017 by snyper316
