Big thanks to my good buddy videoarizona for taking the time to meet me for lunch today......Pictures are proof that it really happened.

 

As you can see it is another dark, cold a dreary day here in Phoenix.....NOT...... Perfect day for a ride so I brought AZZI out to say "Hi" to David. But once again VideoArizona drove his truck rather then letting me meet either of his beautiful Blue First Gen or fantastically pampered Second Gen Ventures! Can you believe I've never seen his bikes yet in person!!!!! To be honest, I'm starting to really wonder if he actually owns a Venture or if all the pictures that he has been sharing on the forum are just photoshopped with him sitting on random motorcycles he downloaded from the internet.....

 

All joking aside, thanks David for your friendship, insight, advice, and wisdom as always! Great to see ya!

Yea,,, that Vaz is a sneaky critter... Stick with him as a spy for us will ya Riv - I have often wondered some of the same things = you are onto it like hound on a snowshoe - sic em!!!!

AWESOME pics and, WOWZY - that AZZI is looking fine!!! One of these days,,,,,, I gotta get down there and tie one on with you two - pity the ice cream joint where that party takes place!!!

There will come a time within the next couple of years from now we will return to AZ ourselves and hopefully meet up with Video also!! We have a stopover at Phoenix airport twice in Oct but not enough time then. We plan on revisiting the area for a couple of weeks in the next year or two...

i wanted to hook up and bs while I was down there but weather and not seeing family in years took up to much time. would like to go there again when its dry and warm. the roads getting down there left alot to be desired. all the states must be hard up for road funds. where did all that money go. spent more time with family than running around. May never see a few of them { again there getting up there. }. maybe in a few years will happen. the heater in van was no where near good enough at nite. was cold as all get out.

Both @videoarizona and I are already taking up a collection for gas money and ice-cream coupons to get you out here Mr. Puc! Car washes, paper routes, or bake sales.....no matter what it takes we want to get you out here for a meet and eat!

 

Thanks for the kind words about AZZI! Best $250 bucks I ever spent (still can't believe the guy sold it to me for that). Now if I could only find the time to figure out how to bolt on all those sweet V-Max parts you sent me then she will fly!

Ok. Guys and gals... Here proof I do own a scoot..... Here's the 2gen on 2 different trips...

 

1: Is me a few years ago... Talking a break on our downhill run on rt.191.. Devil's Highway. This shot was about half way down... On the mesa.. Before the road really got fun..

 

The next shot was taken today. On rt. 260. We were about 15 minutes east of Camp Verde.. On way to Payson... If you remember a previous post, I mapped out rt 260 as a nice ride....

 

I look mad... And I thought I was smiling!!

 

Last pic is our two scoots, my Pat, Karen and Mark.... In the parking lot of Sidewinders. In Pine. Good burgers. This is same place we sometimes drive to for Friday night ribs! After this we rode back into the heat of Phoenix..

@VanRiver... One of these days we will meet and I'll be on two wheels! Honest!!!
