DevilDog Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I think I may have a hole in one of the pipes on the rear header so I need to take it out to take a look. What's the easiest way to remove it? I have removed the collector but didn't want to start needlessly disassembling the top half of the bike before checking to see if someone found an easy way to get it out. I have checked the manual and the site but haven't ran across anything yet. Thanks for the help.
muffinman Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 DD I found that if you remove the rear valve cover the pipe will come out on the left side of the bike Jeff
DevilDog Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 Thanks Jeff. Good thing I asked the question. I was about try to remove it out the right side by moving the rear brake master cyl and associated parts out of the way. Lot less work to pop off the valve cover. DD I found that if you remove the rear valve cover the pipe will come out on the left side of the bike Jeff
