ReinyRooster Posted April 15, 2017 #1 Posted April 15, 2017 Installed the heated grips yesterday. Took the tank off to run and hide the wiring, went pretty smooth. Here's a pic of where I mounted the controller. Now just need the rain to stop to take them out for a test ride.
Marcarl Posted April 15, 2017 #2 Posted April 15, 2017 Hope it works out for you, but then I hope in a way that you don't get to use them much. Might I suggest that the controller is normally behind you?
Guest Posted April 15, 2017 #3 Posted April 15, 2017 That "controller" doesn't assume that position very often.
djh3 Posted April 16, 2017 #4 Posted April 16, 2017 I used mine twice this winter. LOL I will say that now I have them it is nice when you want a little warmth. I have noticed it helps not have cramps or sore hands when it get cooler.
orlean1 Posted April 16, 2017 #5 Posted April 16, 2017 I have the exact same ones had them installed down in bike week October last year. Same location also. They get very hot. On the cold mornings in Cleveland around 30 degrees 50 or 75 percent is enough for me. I was very impressed they were a couple hundred cheaper than the Avons.
