Battery is toast

Looks like my battery is toast....won't even take a charge so......which battery is everyone suggesting now-a-days? Have had good luck with Odyssey. Can anyone tell me which Odyssey model I need for an 06 RSV?

Deka ETX20L. Very good battery in my view. Ordered mine from Sask. Battery but you can find them around your part of the country I'm sure. Doug

Dang, bike batteries have gotten expensive!! Like the Odyssey but waaay too much money. Picked up a Deka out the door for $146.00. Ouch.

Still worth the money. Picked up mine from ACME battery in Hamilton for $89.00 CA compared to $120.00 US and it is going into its 5th year and still going strong.

I got the Yuasa YTX20HL-BS 320 CA Glass Mat for my RSTD.

The lesser one is the YTX20L-BS 270 CA

I got mine from the local Yamaha shop.

It's the same as in my Goldwing GL1800 trike.

The 320 CA is $94.

I strongly advise to NOT buy Advance Auto batteries for the bike. I had two that did not last a year. Honda shop told me they do not have enough lead in them to make a year.

You won't regret the DEKA AGM.. Mine was 5 years old when I replaced with a new one. Didn't have to.... still was at 25% battery life. But was planning a few months on the road so I didn't want risk it. My old one is still in a friends riding mower. Still starts everytime.

Looks like the battery in my 2005 is also "Pouched!". Where did you p/u your battery in the KW area?

I'm in Waterloo and hope to get one this weekend.

What dealer name is the place to pick up this battery off Victoria St?
