We stayed in Robbinsville at the Microtel Inn and Suites, and ate a good meal at Lynn's Place.

 

I agree Robbinsville doesn't have a lot to offer, but it is certainly sufficient if your'e just looking for a place after a long day of riding to eat a good meal, get a good nights rest, an spend a little "room time" with your soon to be life padna.

I just saw a post about The Rattler. You folks that have ridden this, is it worth it?

Here is what my "new" plan is.... When we leave Franklin, we will ride up 23 to 441 where we will get on the BRP just north of Cherokee and ride the BRP to just south west of Asheville and we will jump on 23 going back west to highway 209 and ride that up through "The Rattler" to Hot Springs, NC and jump on 25 to 40 and into Knoxville. Sound like a decent ride?
