Anyone Used the Motion Pro Bead Breaker Tire Irons Shown in this Video?

Have knocked em off the wheels in every way under the sun that I can think of but never have I ever seen a set of those Sky = :sign Rock On:.. Got a spiffy little Harbor Freight bead breaker I use when swapping em at home and have always thought about figuring out a way to incorporate it into the Maintenance Dept on my bike (getting to old to breaking them loose with the 16 inch channel locks and C-Clamps) but, looking at those = thinking they would solve a lot of problems on the side of highway out in the middle of nowhere..

Watched the whole vid, that young man did a good job IMHO.. Spot on with gettin em hot first,,, personally not much for using Windex or soaps = if I have to use soap its a windex bottle filled with water and a half dozen drops of dish soap in it (just enough to make it bubble when ya shake it up - good for finding leaks too that way) - used windex and soaps in the old days and never happy with what they do to aluminum after long term use (especially noticable around valve stem). I like to carry a "splat" of that black slimy tire stuff they use in tire stores in a zip lock bag with a rag in it - just give er swipe - put the tire on and that stuff helps keep the tire sealed (fills in any tiny scratches) PLUS assists in bead breakage next time around cause it doesnt corrode/dry out.. Also like to use slices of oil jug (just the right plastic) or even milk jugs (little thin) to protect beads = work great and can cut em to size. Would absolutely want to drape a piece over those tire iron "ears" if you were gonna use em for bead breakin I think..

Also,, I have noticed that many times I do not have to rebalance once the wheels have been already balanced once. Just leave the original weights on the rims - line up the lite spot as shown - air em up and good to go.. Not always but this usually works for me..

Good vid brother - very informative - definitely keep my eyes open for a set of them irons or get out the wirefeeder and grinder to alter my tired old irons!! THANK YOU a quadzillion for sharing it Sky!!

My bone to pic on that is tryin to wedge them things in. I just did tires on my Victory. No way on GGE you could have got those in there. It took two passes around with the 2x4 "bead breaker" to finally get the thing to move. They were radials, and I'm having a theroy that maybe the radials have a stiffer sidewall and are a bit tougher to dis mount.

I will turn the 2x4 side ways so grain is across vs straight. but basicly same idea. But with the disc brakes on the wheel you need to place boards under the wheel to space it up so the disc don't hit or bend.

Now this here looks like a CowPuc invention.
