snyper316 Posted March 18, 2017 Author #27 Posted March 18, 2017 Hard orings on the drain screw? So far I don't see it leaking after replacing that oring but will keep eye on it. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
snyper316 Posted March 19, 2017 Author #28 Posted March 19, 2017 Back to drawing board but I am almost betting on bad bowl gasket if not the rear bowl drain, this will be the first time pulling carbs with both cables hooked up but think I will try @cowpuc suggestion I am just tired of pulling them.... snyper316 Posted March 20, 2017 Author #30 Posted March 20, 2017 Ok OK I give I pulled the carburetors today. PITA to get the push cable removed. Needless to say @rbig1 suggested maybe a scratch in the float needle. Well low and behold I pulled the needle out and was looking at under sunlight and noticed a ring around mid section of the point and another scratch going diagonally , I haven't put them back on yet but replaced the bowl drain oring and bowl gasket. wet checked float levels and they are the same level. So after I eat lunch I will put them back on and cross my fingers I can get the push cable back in where it goes....
