Well last night they said we were going to get a real good snow storm like ones we used to get years ago. Well it shifted south about 90 miles and headed to Chicago. You folks in Chicago probably needed a little snow to keep everyone home at night. Glad we could share the snow and I am sure it is headed out to the east coast right after it dumps on Chicago.

I don't have any snow on the ground to speak of and from I hear you don't have to shovel rain. Keep your heads down and enjoy the winter weather as it blows by you at 25MPH or more.

Seriously take care and stay in side it dumped a lot of snow and it is just getting started.

ENJOY

It's been 70+ for the first part of this week. Yesterday we got hit with 7-8" up here. I caught the bullet you dodged :snow:. But for this time of the year I cant complain about the sun and warmth we got before it.

I am in Milwaukee and it is staying north of here we just got a LOT of rain. We might get an inch of snow tomorrow as the tail end comes thru.

Unfortunately it looks like it will completely miss Hayward WI where they are trying to hold the biggest cross country ski event in north America, The Birkebeiner. 40,000 people from all over the world are there to ski or watch skiing, and they have no snow. This storm literally missed them by 10 miles to the south. They may get about an inch, hardly enough to support 10,000 skiers.

Yes, unfortunately, we only have a couple of days left of our Western New York "spring break." The "S" word is back into the forecast again. We came close to 70 yesterday...

I wandered through Hayward last weekend and saw all the prep they had in place for the Berkie despite the 48 degrees and rain. Saturday was supposed to be the "Book Across the Bay" going from Ashland to Washburn across Chequamegon Bay. I wouldn't be out on that ice this year.

We got about 4-5 inches through noon today, with another 3 or more coming later today. Not a lot, but enough to make it feel like February again.

Well no snow, not even in the yard.

So life is good.

Weather is supposed to be 50's for a couple of days.

So let me make this perfectly clear "I don't want your stinking snow, keep it." Wow I feel much better now.

If you like snow.. enjoy..... other than that I am done for the year and hoping for sun , warm weather and bikes.

Ca-peesh
