ragtop69gs Posted March 1, 2017 #76 Posted March 1, 2017 Have you checked for vacuum leaks anywhere in the intake airstream from the air box to the head? Are you sure there is not an obstruction in one of those Harley pipes? Put the stock pipes back on and see if problem disappears. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
sldunker Posted March 1, 2017 #77 Posted March 1, 2017 I could of sworn you said the K&N filters had been on for a long time. Is this one of the things you changed this spring? These bikes don't like changes on the intake side of carbs. Just saying.
bongobobny Posted March 1, 2017 #78 Posted March 1, 2017 If you look at his video you will see he put a conical K&N on, not the replacement K&N cartridges they make as a replacement for the OEM filter...
sldunker Posted March 2, 2017 #79 Posted March 2, 2017 The video is were I saw the external type air filter. I had assumed prior to that, the K&N filters that were installed were the direct stock replacements. My mistake and I know what happens when you assume something.
