Amazing auction just down the road

Looks like on July 15th they will be auctioning off over 700 cars and other vehicles from a private collection. Auction is in Norwalk, OH which is only about 30 minutes down the road. I may go if I am able to. Wish I had LOTS of money though.

Ok I am a sucker for those old trucks, but I am sure those will get bid up. Still be fun to go tho!

Car collectors will be salivating over that auction. Would be interesting just to go and see all those old and unique vehicles.

WOW! Thanks for posting this Don. It would be fun to go to just for the entertainment value. I haven't seen that many milk trucks in one place since I was a kid.

Man, at least a dozen or so I would like to have!! Lots of Packards, Stupidfakers, and semi-exotic foreign cars! Even an old Hudson which is dear to my heart! I would like that Gold Hawk, and that 56 Desoto, 57? Dodge, the Austin Healey just to mention a few. Would love to go to that just to take pictures and reminisce...

Might be a good venue for a meet-n-eat, but it will probably be slim pickens on hotel rooms? Like others have said, would really be a neat thing just to walk around and check out all those cars!!!!

OP is kinda busy on the 15th,,,, wonder if he would turn us in for vagrancy if, on his way out for work on the morning of the 15th of July he noticed a few lop eared auction going VR biker varmints camped at the end of his driveway:Laugh:

 

Stick our heads out of the tents and wave at em on his way out the driveway = sure sounds like a RIOT!!!

 

PS: probably should bring the car/trailer - I see a 45 inch flat head Harley:Bunny2: and side hacked 46 Indian Chief:Bunny2: that I would LOVE to drag home!!!!! Also LOVE those micro cars - would LOVE to land an "Urkle Car"

I agree, I might spend some of my money, but only if I was 40 still. Seems to me iffin I was to land one of these in my yard I'd be old and grey before I would have a chance to actually drive it somewhere, and then my kids would probably put me somewhere so I couldn't drive it damage it maybe. So seeing as I'm somewhat over 45 I'll keep my funds for more important things, like IceCream, but I would be up to going for a looksee.

,,,,, meet at DQ in Oberlin = 10 p.m. on the 14th,, bring tent cause I aint sharing my Menards motel.. Combine our retirement funds and eat till we almost puke.. Ride over to Don's at midnight, turn our bikes off at the end of his drive way and coast over to the pine trees.. After unloading our gear = Put branches around them and quietly (means NO Carl) walk back to backside of the pond where no monsters live. I looked there during MD (always looking for a "just in case" emergency camp ground - place is AWESOME) and noticed plenty of room to camp and not get .. Get up, go back to DQ for breakfast.. Bring your GPS so we dont have to trust my incredible skills in finding places we are heading so we get to auction before its over..

I dunno why, but I always kind of liked them style milk trucks. Would be neat to refurb one and make a food truck out of it. I figured Puc would lay eyes on that blue HD. I dig the old check marathon also. They sure had an eclectic collection of goods.
