BlueSky Posted January 15, 2017 #4 Posted January 15, 2017 I'm surprised that he lumped Hollywood with Fox News? Lots of liberals hate Fox News which is by far number 1 in the ratings. The other networks are so far into the liberal progressive camp that they still don't realize why Donald Trump is going to be our next President. John Cleese is British and should spout his opinions to the British people, plenty of stupidity there. The British people are still supporting their "royal family", the family that was their slave masters!!! CNN admitted that they did everything they could to get Hillary elected. And it was the New York Times that told their employees that it was their job to get Hillary elected. We need Fox News to counteract all of the other networks. It reminds me of when super conservative Jesse Helms was one of the NC senators. A coworker commented we needed Jesse in the Senate to counteract Ted Kennedy.
SilvrT Posted January 15, 2017 #5 Posted January 15, 2017 Just because my eleveator doesn't go to the top doesn't mean I'm stupid ...... [h=2]S T U P I D = Smart Talented Unique Person In Demand[/h] He's not stupid ... he's possessed by a retarded ghost...
cecdoo Posted January 15, 2017 #6 Posted January 15, 2017 Lets see, the Boss is dealing with a very difficult family matter rite now. Everyone seems to agree this is a pretty great forum/family to be part of. The group has one rule... NO POLITICS. It has been voted on repeatedly as long as I have been a member, and all seem to agree it has no place here. So if you have any respect for Don at this time, lets try and keep the train on the tracks. Thanks, Craig

yamagrl Posted January 16, 2017 Author #9 Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Actually I didn't notice a political reference... I was laughing my @$$ off when I posted it. I had no idea how prophetic it actually is. It was not and still is not my intention to post anything political. I have previously referenced "Rule Number Two". My apologies to anyone who may not have understood. Again... I edited the post with a shortened video. Heather Edited January 16, 2017 by yamagrl typo

uncledj Posted January 17, 2017 #11 Posted January 17, 2017 Hilarious thread... in so many ways! Yup. More than one way to interpret that prophecy.

Venturous Randy Posted January 19, 2017 #14 Posted January 19, 2017 When I got my new laptop for Christmas, it has MSN as the homepage with Windows Edge. I have left it, but I also have Foxfire loaded with Comcast, as that is where my Email is. MSN has a lot of stories as you scan the homepage and some are interesting and many are auto related with stories from Hot Rod and others. But it is routine that on many of the stories about something, the original person or picture in the headline is never in the story. The other thing is the overwhelmingly left slant on about everything. If there is any story that they think may make Trump look bad in any way, they are going to post it. It is actually ridiculous. Randy

If there is any story that they think may make Trump look bad in any way, they are going to post it. It is actually ridiculous. RandyYeah, about that, I mostly watch the CBSN news on my Kodi box. They have been annoying me lately, well pretty much since the Primaries started. Focusing on some of the dumb things Trump has said or done rather than trying to get a clarification on what he might do to accomplish his stated goals like "draining the swamp" etc. They are so pathetically anti Trump. Not that I am particularly in favour of Trump but hopefully he will be able to shake up a very broken bureaucratic system. Not to pick on our southern neighbours since we have similar problems here. Anyway, I'm going to see if I can get ABC News on my box. Sadly, I haven't found a reliable source of Canadian News streaming on Kodi. When I had TV I used to watch CTV 24hour news but Rogers Media owns that and does not stream on the Internet, just on their channels. (After thought: Is there such a thing as good news reporting? As in not slanted towards any agenda?) Back to the topic of "stupidity", when I was in college I discovered an enlightening axiom: “The more you know, the more you know you don’t know.” This is pretty much what John Cleese was going on about. I was constantly amazed at the blank looks I received any time I made that statement. Edited January 20, 2017 by camos
cecdoo Posted January 20, 2017 #16 Posted January 20, 2017 “The more you know, the more you know you don’t know.” My thoughts exactly... Thanks, Craig

Flyinfool Posted January 23, 2017 #19 Posted January 23, 2017 I keep learning more and more about less and less. Pretty soon I will know everything there is to know about nothing.
