Got an e-mail notice that someone started an i cloud account using our apple account ID.

Problem is we don't have an apple account. When I checked it out it is a virus. If you get this notice don't open it.

The take away on this is never open any notice link you get without checking out where that link will take you. Most often the link's address can be seen when hovering your mouse over the link. Easy enough to see whether the link will take you to the legitimate parent company.

Lately I have been getting some really official looking PayPal notices in my email but they have all been phishing attempts. Not only that but a week ago I received a telephone message from Telus Collections have never been in arrears with them and I have not had an account with them for 30 years. For those who don't know, Telus is one of the major Telco providers in Canada. We are getting hit from all sides so when someone lobs a shot at you just duck and move on. No response is the best response.

Yep. I get this time to time in my mailbox. Very tempting, but we know better not to click on something I am not familiar with. Always be a step ahead...

As per Clive's recommendation, I'm not responding to this .. :whistling:
What you bin drinkin?

New Year Party Pooper?

I've never made that recommendation to anyone.

Seems to me everyone should say what they are thinking.

Unless they might regret it later.

In any case, it is not up to me how they respond.
