In my entire life I have had one event that I think was a migraine headache. It was so painful I wondered if I was having a brain aneurism as my mother died from an brain aneurism when she was 67. I was in my 50's at the time. I took several headache meds that did nothing. I remember it was a bright sunny day and I was in bed trying to cut out ALL light and noise. When it finally eased off, my head was still sore for days.

The point I want to make is I do not see how anybody could get by having routine migraines. I truly feel for you and wish you the best.

I get somewhat regular migraine HA r/t fibromyalgia. When I feel it coming I can take a 100mg flurbiprofen and dodge the bullet if I do it in time but if I'm out of those little blue pills I can count on at least three hours writhing in pain praying for the sweet release of subconsciousness. Feelin' what you mean. It really makes no sense why flurbi works and Tylonel and Aleve do absolutely nothing, but it really does. Fibro is not terminal so I still feel lucky, I have worked in hospice before and I know how much worse it could be. I remain thankful.

I'm going to have a very merry xmas and I really wish the same for all of you!

May a prosperous new year lay ahead for us all. Oh yea, I hope Santa brings you some really cool stuff!

I would love to seen Dan modeling this apron. I take sumitriptan and I got Furiocet for the on set of one, but say your out and about and don't take your pills with you that kind of sucks. Sometimes before they come on I will get sick or really dizzy all the sudden, or simply Blam there hitting you. But I pray for all of us that suffer from them may we not get them Tomorrow.

Got an early Christmas present this year. Went out to the Legion last night and won a prime rib and a few pounds of hamburger. Great! This morning Janet went outside an found a freshly killed and partly eaten deer stuffed under our deck. Not so great! I figure a cougar killed it last night and we disturbed it when we came home so it shoved the carcass under the deck intending to return for it later.

That is really cool!! The only thing I have seen is a cougar hit a deer never seen them eat one, the cougar I had just ate gas!

A few years ago some idiot set some bunnies loose on the island and we were overrun with them. We also have far too many deer. The owls, eagles and cougar keep the rabbit population under control. This is the second time I have found a fresh deer kill next to the house. There is also a bear on the island. There is such plentiful wildlife that they never bother the sheep or pets so we don't bother them.

So a nice venison roast for Christmas dinner? Make a nice change from turkey or ham and save the prime rib for later.
