I remember 10 cent beer, $2.00 for a tank of gas. Back then my mid month paycheque was $100.00 and the month end was $95.00. I paid $50.00 a month for room and board and $ 50.00/month for a new sports car and had lots left over. It has been downhill ever since.

I remember those days!

I started in the IT biz in 1987 as a software instructor. I was making $31/hr plus expenses on contract then and yes, it's been downhill since. Today I'm getting $27.50/hr but in 1993 I was only making $18/hr doing the same thing so it's been a bit of a roller coaster.

I spent most of my money on wimmen, booze, and vehicles... the rest I wasted on frivolous stuff ... :crying:
