One of the first things I am going to do in an attempt to reduce/eliminate handlebar vibration is to install bumpers between the lower wind deflectors and the forks. Are these something pre-made that you can buy or are people making their own? Would love to see pics if anyone has any.

thanks

The come from the factory with rubber bumpers. Sometimes the brackets need to be bent back a bit so that they make contact. If they are missing, there are a number of ways to make new ones. I use rubber expanding nuts with the brass threaded inserts. Just put a screw through the hole and into the rubber expansion nut. I have pictures here somewhere if I can find them.

If, however, you have passing lamps and then have a relocation bracket added to move the passing lamps away from the fairing allowing easier splitting of the fairing you will need longer bumpers than shown. I installed some stainless bolts and added rubber bumpers found at the hardware store to the ends of the bolts. I believe I modified them slightly and maybe just drilled a hole in the rubber before I glued them on.

As stated they need to contact the fork covers and the bolts allowed some adjustment by varying the length via the depth inserted into the rubber
