Great adVENTURE Posted September 15, 2016 #1 Posted September 15, 2016 After the last couple weeks of touring I finally decided to ride up to ikea and get myself a sheepskin seat cover. uncledj Posted September 15, 2016 #2 Posted September 15, 2016 How much was it and how ya likin' it ?
Great adVENTURE Posted September 15, 2016 Author #3 Posted September 15, 2016 Hope this satisfies the picture police... The maps images were taken from my google maps timeline which tracks my every move. I however starting to notice a hand numbing vibration others were discussing, anyone close by who has a carb sync gauges that are willing to help?
Great adVENTURE Posted September 15, 2016 Author #4 Posted September 15, 2016 How much was it and how ya likin' it ? Best $30 I ever spent. Didnt even have to trim it to fit, just threw it on and rode off. But I haven't really had enough saddle time with it to tell the difference between sheepskin and a towel. I will post my results back here in a week or so.
leo3wheel Posted September 16, 2016 #6 Posted September 16, 2016 Wow Dan! Your first trip took you within 6 miles of our hometown, Berlin, NH. Is that the Ikea in Elizabeth, NJ? Looks like some fun riding!

MJ44 Posted September 17, 2016 #8 Posted September 17, 2016 I've had an Ikea sheepskin for several years. Good deal! Like the route you took!
leo3wheel Posted September 17, 2016 #9 Posted September 17, 2016 Dan, Have new Carbtune, and I'm not far from you. Can set up a tent, and we can give it shot, if you like. I've watched others do mine. Do you have long Phillips screwdrivers? Have tech notes describing procedure. Just let me know. I'm retired, so I am available most times. Leo

alwrmcusn Posted September 17, 2016 #11 Posted September 17, 2016 Bought our (real) sheepskin in 1984 in Exmouth, W Australia. Still using it today. Only change I made was to cut a slit in it for the driver backrest to mount thru. Only problem: Don't ride on it wet.
