Venture Sighting this AM

After a long day yesterday of beautiful rain, it was nice this morning...and the 89 Blue Beastie was begging for a ride...off we went.

 

On the way back from stopping at Mt Hopkins Visitor Center near Elephant Head, I stopped to take a picture showing how green everything is in the desert.

 

I was just starting back down the hill when Lo and behold, here came the same Venture Royale I saw last month and posted a picture here on forum.

 

We got a chance to stop and chat for 30 minutes or so! Got to meet Al and Charee who live right here in Green Valley! His trike is an 86!

 

 

Wonderful couple! We exchanged info and am looking forward to seeing Al and Charee here in the near future.

 

In the meantime, as soon as it cools down, since they love to ride, I can see many rides to Sonoita, breakfast in Rio Rico and maybe a gunfight or two in Tombstone or mine cave exploration in Bisbee!

 

Meeting them made a nice ride so much better.
