Fuse for fuel gauge...

Looking at wiring schemail for 99 venture. It shows a fuse between the fuel indicator and rectifier... Kind of weird.. anyone know where it is? Maybe this will fix my gauge that is flashing from both ends...

Besides the main fuse, there are two fuse blocks, both on the right side of the bike. One is under the false battery cover, and the other is inside the lower fairing...

Fuel gauge segments flashing are probably a faulty code, I know when the sending unit goes bad it flashes a code using the gauge segments.

Watch them to see if there is a pattern, like a few flashes then pause and then 2 or 3 more flashes, those codes are in the repair manual in the troubleshooting section.

Here is good one I put in 1157 long life low voltage type and Everytime I hit the brake I get a warning...

The 2nd gen "warnings, as it were, are through the fuel tank, and usually has to do with pollution issues...

Mine just flashes both ends.. no pauses.. just flash flash glash... doesn't stop...
