headlight help

ok i need help, gonna change the lamp to a brighter one. how is the best and easy way? do i have to go into the dash? help me out, dont want to go about it wrong.

Unless you have very small hands the best and easiest way is to split the fairing to remove the rubber cover, metal clip, wiring connector and lastly the bulb from the back of the head light housing. Oh....... did I say this is the easiest way, well it is but it still helps to have small hands. If you have very , very small hands some others have had success going through the opening above the headlight adjustment knob between the forks.

 

What replacement bulb are you using? I used the PIAA Super White 55 w to 100 w anti-vibration bulb and was really pleased with the resulting illumination.
