Saw this sitting outside a local bump shop. Anybody know what it is and who made it? The owner says it was manufactured around 1972.

It is powered by a 2 cylinder pancake Briggs and Stratton motor whit a snowmobile clutch setup.

what is a bump shop?

I believe that is a home built project car that was featured in either Popular Science or Mechanics magazine way back when. I remember because I really wanted to build one.
