Check your bolts !

I've never taken the trunk supports off but after six years and 80,000 km started hearing rattling from the back end. Turns out two bolts (one on each side) that attach the supports to the fender were loose. Tightened them up and no more rattle.

 

Just a reminder that mid-to-late season is a good chance to check your bolts to make sure nothing has loosened over the season.

While at it check those screws on the bottom inside of the gas cap.

Yes they too do come loose.
