Rotten Posted August 28, 2016 #1 Posted August 28, 2016 Ok so as the title states, I swapped over to the 4 into 2 exhaust. The issue I have currently is fabbing up a rear hanger for the HD cans. I have the factory saddle bag mounts, but I dont have the 4 into 2 muffler stays, and they are really costly on ebay. I tried to fab something up with Simpson Strong Ties, but it looks like crap. Does anyone have suggestion or pictures of an exhaust mount for my situation?

I am thinking that you may have posted this question on my You Tube video? didnt have a chance to respond to that if ya did. Anyway it all has to be custom made. Here is the thread on when I switched my exhaust (among other things) and lowered bags at the same time. Long thread but lots of pictures and info. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?83141-Tearing-into-the-bike-part-Deux&highlight=makeover+monster Hope it helps,.. Darrin
Rotten Posted October 29, 2016 Author #3 Posted October 29, 2016 This is what I came up with. Luckily I found the TD muffler stays cheap on Ebay
baylensman Posted October 31, 2016 #4 Posted October 31, 2016 way to complicated. a simple "P" clamp from HD (Home depot not Harley) on the back of the bag rail is all you need. Its been holding my pipes up for three years now! There's plenty of treads here about HD (Harley not Home depot) mufflers on our bikes. A lot of us do it becuase its cheap and sounds bettery than a Harley does.
