Canada Post Irony

So I get this notice in the mail yesterday from the post office saying it's a final notice to pick up my parcel (which I already picked up). It has a phone number to call so I call it.

 

 

An automated message is played back to me... "please leave a message after the tone" ... the tone chimes and then it says "we're sorry, the mail box is full ... please try again later"

 

 

DOH!

So, stop by the Post Office and show them the notice and then demand the parcel. If they cannot give it to you, tell them you want the insurance coverage on it.

If they say you have already received it, ask them why you keep getting notices you did not receive it.

I would get a "Third and Final Notice" to pick up a parcel. I asked how come I got the third notice without ever getting the first or second. she said people ignore the first two so they just send out the third one.
