Even if it doesn't last it's a great price for a temp fix if you get stranded. I think I'll order one to keep on the bike.

Well 6 months doesn't mean anything if the bike sets in the garage. I will have ridden close to 20,000 miles in 6 months is that a good enough test.

Yah! I'm with MiCarl!! Cheap insurance! Of course there is always the gravity feed mod that will get you home, I carry a short rubber hose just for that purpose!

 

But now days with my Carbon_1 auxiliary gas tank, worst case scenario is I manually have to transfer the gas from the main tank into the auxiliary tank...

For what it is worth. I discovered the electrical plugs on the RSV and RSTD are shaped different. The pump is the same.

The one I bought on ebay is still doing well... I have put about 10K miles on it. No issues.
