Rear Ended - Need a Replacement Trunk & Brackets

I was rear ended on the way home Thursday, nothing serious but the accident did ruin the trunk on my 2003 Royal Star Midnight Venture. I am looking for a replacement trunk and mounting brackets if anyone out there has one or can offer up suggestions it would be appreciated.

If you are going thru insurance....Yamaha would have them... and the dealer can make sure nothing else was damaged.

Ebay would be the best bet to get a trunk, not sure about the mounting bracket though.

Yah! I was going to say Ebay or Pinwall Cycles in Ohio, but make the Insurance company pay full retail for all the new parts PLUS labor to fix like new!!! NEVER take the first offer, or the second one either...

If you get a used trunk the colour might not match and you'd have to get it painted. Check paint codes on the black trunks...they might be different. For example...the 2012 is black but has red flecks in it. Go thru insurance/dealer and they can get it painted the right colour as well as install everything for you.

If its an insurance thing yea dealer or a shop. If its on your dime look over on Mutazu. Somwhere I have another company but cant find it right now.

Thanks everyone, The guy settled with me so this will not be an insurance claim. I looked at Matazu didn't find anything, Ebay has one I think will work, going to pursue that route.

You can also get a tourpack (read: trunk) off of a Harley since that's what the 2nd Gen wants to be anyway!
